Mueller joins PostBus Board

Beat Mueller has been appointed head of international market at PostBus. Mueller will also sit on the Swiss Post-owned company’s Board, from May.

He has been head of finance at Transports Publics Genevois (TPG) since 2008, and has in-depth knowledge of public transport.

Mueller is also a member of the Transport Economics Commission for the International Association of Public Transport (UITP) and a member of the Finance Commission for the Swiss Association of Public Transport (VöV).

He previously worked for nine years as head of finance for Protectas SA in Lausanne.

Mueller will take over the role from Andreas Wenger, who has headed PostBus’s international business for the past four years.

PostBus operates urban transport networks and regional transport routes in France.

At the end of last year, PostBus successfully retained the mandate to operate the bus network in Liechtenstein until 2020 in a WTO tender.
