Virtual delivery from Airborne Express

Airborne Express lauched a new service that will enable its shippers to send confidential, signed documents electronically. The move follows the implementation of a new law in the US, which gives legal status to documents with electronic signatures. Airborne formeda partnership with InstantCourier.com, a provider of encrypted document delivery and digital signature services, to create a system providing a streamlined way to transmit documents while at the same time ensuring privacy and security. Airborne also contracted NextBill to provide an e-billing system which will allow it to send invoices directly to its customers via e-mail, and recieve payments electronically via secure internet transmissions. The system is capable of generating invoices in HTML, MS Word, text or PDF format.
