Economy Airfreight service launched by TNT Express

TNT Express has announced the launch of a new Economy Airfreight service. The new service offers door-to-airport and door-to-door capabilities, thanks to the synergies between the company’s air freight and express networks.

Economy Airfreight will make use of TNT’s own security and customs facilities, and offers a full track and trace option.

It will give customers one point of contact for shipping pallets, parcels, documents and will be cheaper than alternative TNT services.

Fokke Kleuver, Airfreight Manager Benelux said, “Because TNT has invested heavily in intercontinental routes, we can offer our own air transport operations between Europe and the USA, Dubai, India, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore and Chongquing.

“TNT also has a strong regional road network. This offer customers even more choice in speed, price and delivery terms.”
