Collect+ to handle returns for German retailer Zalando

German online retailer Zalando has appointed Collect+ to manage its customer returns service in the UK. The fashion store launched its UK site in April, and has now partnered with the Yodel-PayPoint joint initiative, allowing consumers to return items via local convenience stores.

Collect+ says 80%of the UK’s urban population now lives within a mile of a returns point.

Mark Lewis, chief executive of Collect+, said: “To have been chosen as a partner by such a popular and successful retailer is a great achievement for Collect +, and we are excited to begin this new venture.

“As a new service ourselves, we understand Zalando’s desire to make a good impression on their new UK customers, and we look forward to helping them achieve that by providing the best service possible.”

The Collect+ service offers returns and deliveries through Yodel at participating shops within the PayPoint network.

Launched in 2009, Collect+ now has over 3,800 participating stores.
