INFRASTRUCTURE: VNPT TO OFFER NEW POSTAL SERVICE SOON
The Vietnam Post & Telecommunications Corporation (VNPT) will launch a new parcel service nationwide in November 2001, which will better ensure senders’ interests. When sending parcels, customers will declare the value of goods, so that post offices can compensate for them in case of loss or damage.
At present, post offices compensate for parcel services’ users according to the kinds of parcels and weight rates.
