Greek and Bulgarian Post & Telecommunications services to cooperate

Bulgaria’s Council of Ministers [on] Thursday [8 November] approved an agreement on cooperation in post offices and telecommunications with Greece, the Government’s Information and PR Directorate (IPRD) said. The agreement was signed in Sofia on 17 July 2001 and envisages exchange of information and specialists under various liberalization, consultancy and training programmes.

Bulgaria and Greece will cooperate in research and design of post-office and telecommunications equipment.

The Council of Ministers approved a plan for cooperation between the health ministries of Bulgaria and Israel in health care and the medical science in 2001-2005 as a basis for talks. The parties will exchange information on health care legislation, the major health policies and the organization of the therapeutic and preventive care network. Bulgaria and Israel will provide each other assistance in the management and financing of health care and the related services…

The Council of Ministers will consider some changes in the Bulgarian-Turkish agreement on the construction of the Upper Arda hydroelectric cascade in a week’s time, Regional Development and Public Works Minister Kostadin Paskalev said…
