Finland Post Launches IT Company

Finland Post has established a new company to provide information technology (IT) services to the group. The new company will take over the business activities of Tietonauha Oy, a Tampere-based IT firm that is a wholly owned subsidiary of Finland Post. In addition to offering IT services, the company will also build learning centres for the postal group. Finland Post expects the new company to have of turnover of approximately EUR20m in 2002. Initially the company will have around 100 employees, reports the Finnish weekly newspaper Tietoviikko.”
