Emirates Post Group launches staff feedback initiative

The Emirates Post Group has launched a new initiative aimed at strengthening channels for its employees to communicate with management. The company said today that its “Your Voice is Heard” programme aims to encourage feedback from its 2,600-strong workforce to help improve the Group’s decision-making process and ultimately improve operational efficiencies.

The Group said it was pushing for a more progressive work environment and improved customer service, and that the initiative was in line with its overall efforts to integrate international best practice into its internal and external communications.

A specialist team has been assembled to manage the programme, receive feedback from employees and process messages within 48 hours.

Fahah Al Hosani, acting president of Emirates Post Group, said the initiative was part of the Group’s overall investment in human relations, which he said was “key” to organisational success.

He said: “Our new initiative is part of an integrated system to further improve communication among our employees and encourage them to express their opinion, which could eventually contribute to our plans and strategy.”

Emirates Post Group is setting up systems so that its employees can share views through a range of channels including email, fax and text message.

Elham Al Shamsi, the manager of the Your Voice is Heard programme, said: The new programme uses the latest technologies that will help employees to express comments related to their work and the organisation.

“We will continue improving our internal communication systems in the future as we believe it can lead to improved employee performance and suitable healthier working environment,” added the programme manager.
