DANZAS MERGES WITH A-POST

Danzas, the Danish transport company, is to merge with the transport activities of A-Post, its Danish competitor which is part of Deutsche Post, the German postal company. Danzas is also part of Deutsche Post.

The merger is part of the international collaboration agreement between Danzas ASG Eurocargo and Deutsche Post Euro Express, the parcel and distribution divisions of Danzas and Deutsche Post respectively. Danzas will operate 500 parcel and distribution vehicles in Denmark after the deal, and annual turnover from its Danish activities will stand at about DKr1bn. Abstracted from Borsen in Danish.
