Exel wins five-year car parts contract

AUTOMOTIVE COMPONENTS manufacturer Grupo Antolin has awarded Exel a five-year contract to provide inbound logistics services at one of its customer facilities in Oxford.
Exel will be managing head-liner components for Grupo Antolin, and will be responsi-ble for carrying out the receipt and storage of parts at the Oxford site, located within
BMW’s Integrated Logistics Centre.
Commenting on his com-pany’s winning of the contract, Jonathon Battle, Exel’s vice president of automotive world-wide, says: “We are particularly pleased as it represents an extension of business with an existing customer in one of our key strategic services.”
