DANZAS IBERICA RAISES TURNOVER BY 20.2%

Danzas Iberica, the Spanish transport company, recorded a turnover of 188.08m euros (Pta31.294bn) in the year 2000, a 20.2 per cent increase on the previous year, according to managing director Felipe Corcuera.

The company transported 1.3 million tonnes in 2000 and is planning to invest 1.2m euros (Pta200m) in 2001. Danzas Iberica, which has 1,252 workers, 19 warehouses and 16 international terminals, will concentrate its efforts in 2001 in completing the integration of its three recently acquired companies Nedlloyd, ASG and AEI, in Spain and Portugal.
