Cost effective parcel service

Electronic retailer QVC has awarded business integration specialist Reality, a three year extension to its contract to provide a parcel delivery service.
Reality provides a national distribution service through its network of 39 depots and sort centres, located within one hours drive of 85% of the UK population. Each sort centre is capable of electronically sorting up to 10,000 parcels per hour, a result of a recent £16m investment programme.
QVC benefits from a cost effective delivery service that includes next day delivery Monday to Saturday, alongside a two-day and standard three-day service without a signature POD. Realitys barcode tracking system provides status data on all deliveries at any time within the Reality network to provide customers with an up to the minute service.
