ShipitSmarter.com and ABCMail introduce service to have goods paid on delivery

ShipitSmarter.com and ABCMail have introduced a mail service to have the goods paid on delivery by using an international POD service.
International transactions on the Internet are often paid by credit card. However, for large amounts and transactions between parties who don’t know each other, a credit card is not an option. That is why the new service is introduced.

ShipitSmarter will pick up the goods or ship them from their warehouse. Every shipment is registered in the database of ShipitSmarter and is visible on the Internet. ABCMail will take care of the required documentation and will offer the POD shipments to the national PTT in the country of the buyer. The money is received on the foreign account of ABCMail. The received money is transferred periodically to the seller.

Companies willing to extent their market to other countries within the EU or the USA can use this service to handle international payments easily and without risk. Companies already using a national POD service can realize an interesting cost saving and receive their money quicker.
