TNT Express boosts retail presence in Lebanon

TNT Express in Lebanon has signed a partnership deal with a service provider for MoneyGram and various other financial services providers. The agreement with Masri Money Express MME means that TNT will able to offer better retail access for its express delivery services.

The company said following a special signing ceremony in Beirut, it will begin offering its express services in most of the MME branches in Lebanon.

MME has about 400 branches in Lebanon, providing services from MoneyGram, CashU, Ezetop, MTA and other financial services providers.

Mohammad Al Masri, general manager of Masri Money Express MME, said the partnership adds to the services available for MME customers.

“We are very keen to offer the best delivery solutions for our retail customers, and we are convinced that TNT Express is the perfect match with their logistical industry expertise,” he said.

“This partnership will be particularly beneficial to our clients’ expectations.”

TNT Express said the new alliance was part of an overall effort to expand its presence within key areas, to reach a larger customer base.

The company’s services are represented in Lebanon by The Netholding Group.

Roger Haddad, country general Manager for TNT Express in Lebanon, said: “We will focus on strengthening our service offering by being present throughout MME branches in Lebanon.

“We are continuously looking to provide TNT services to the B2C sector. Our commitment is to have convenient express courier to our customers across the country.”
