Securicor Omega Express contract with Teleplan
Global IT provider Teleplan has teamed up with logistics specialist Securicor Omega Express to transport time-critical equipment throughout Europe. In addition to the transportation, technical couriers are used where necessary to provide an on-site swap-out of parts and the contract alsoincorporates the use of a tracking system, Etrac. As Teleplan receives collection requests from its customers, these are relayed to Omega Express customer service team in Hatfield. The customer service team then instructs the depots to perform the necessary on-site swap out of the unit or alternatively hae it returned to Teleplan for repair.
‘The ability to provide our customers with real time distribution information has led to this significant contract signing‘ said Tony Faratro, Securicors area general manager of sales. ‘We‘re able to offer dedicated services that meet with the growing needs of individual business requirements within this specialised industry Faratro said.
