Lynx and Concorde combine with speedy parts service

Logistics service provider Concorde Logistics has signed a 3 year, £6m contract with the Partsflow division of carrier Lynx Express, with Lynx providing ‘in-boot‘ and daytime deliveries to more than 300 service engineers throughout the UK.
The new contract involves the just-in-time delivery of spares for IT systems, EPOS equipment and ATMs. Deliveries are despatched from Concorde Logistics managed warehouse facility in Milton Keynes and travel, via the Lynx Partsflow hub at Nuneaton to the field engineers.
‘We chose Lynx because the business demonstrated the right competencies and had existing processes we could input to immediately.‘ commented Chris Grad. managing director of Concorde Logistics. ‘I believe our mutual cultures of customer service and professionalism fit well and indeed there are great opportunities for future development.‘
David Burtenshaw, chief executive of Lynx Express added ‘The teams at Lynx and Concorde have alreadt developed a constructive raport and as we learn about each other, I am confident we will identify many more avenues through which to grow our mutual business.‘
