Premdor renews contract with Ryder

Logistics specialist Ryder has strengthened its partnership with UK joinery supplier Premdor by winning a 5 year renewal of its existing distribution contract and the award of an additional logistics management contract on an initial 2 year basis.
Ryder has supplied a dedicated vehicles and drivers service to Premdor, one of the worlds largest door manufacturers since 1966 and this renewal will see the existing vehicle fleet replaced and expanded in number to 42. In addition, Ryder will manage Premdors nationwide distribution operation which ses deliveries to its network of distributors and fabricators within each UK postcode area twice a week. Ryder will supply a staff of 75 people to undertake route planning, scheduling, demand management and delivery.
