All Change at TNT businesses

The Taylor Barnard name is to disappear as TNT Logistics splits its business into two divisions – dedicated and multi-user – which will combine TNT Logistics, TNT Network Logistics, TNT Newsfast and Taylor Barnard. The new dedicated and muli-user divisions will be known as TNT Logistics and TNT Network Logistics, although TNT Newsfast is to retain its name.
Announcing the move, which will affect 6,500 staff, Neil Crossthwaite, md of TNT Logistics UK, says the company will be “better placed to access the wide range of specific skills and expertise within (it) to meet client requirements“.
Crossthwaite believes the move will create a “platform for sustained growth, and make its product offering clearer to the marketplace“.
THT Logistics UK has a turnover approaching £500m and says this moves it into the ranks of the top five logistics companies in the country. Last year its UK revenue grew by more than 30% compared with 2000. “Logistics is the fastest growing business in TPG and we are ensuring the UK continues to be recognised as the best-in-class throughout the industry,“ says Crossthwaite.
