B&Q extends contract with Maersk Logistics

The partnership between DIY giant B&O International and Maersk Logistics has been extended with the signing of a pan-China distribution and supply chain
management agreement for all B&O stores in China.
Maersk Logistics will act as the sole logistics provider and on behalf of 3&C undertake the activi
ties for storage, transportation, goods receiving, pick & pack, dispatch, inventory management and import.
Steve Gilman, B&Q’s international director says, We have ambitious plans for our business in China, with a target of 58 stores in China by 2006.’
