Faccenda Groups awards contract to BDG

Faccenda Group, poultry producer, has awarded temperature-controlled distribution operator Baker Group Distribution (BGD) additional business.

BGD has an existing working relationship with Faccenda, covering the company’s retail and wholesale distribution. BGD already provides nationwide distribution for Faccenda seven days a week out of its six factory sites across the Midlands and the South — offering a consolidation service in conjunction with Faccenda’s own fleet. This arrangement helps Faccenda utilise its fleet to the full, as well as cope with the fluctuating demands from customers with
minimum fuss. As a third party consolidator in the chilled and frozen food marketplace, BGD has introduced systems specifically to support its work for Faccenda, to maintain a smooth running service.
