New Commercial Director for Arrow XL

The UK’s two-man delivery specialist Arrow XL has announced the appointment of Paul Tyson as Commercial Director. Paul has over 20 years’ experience within the logistics sector. Prior to joining Arrow XL, he was Commercial Director of DX Freight for 11 years, where he developed and launched its 2-Man home delivery service.

Reporting directly into CEO, Ian Howell, Paul will be responsible for driving continued growth across the organisation, as well as managing relationships with key clients and suppliers.

Paul has already increased the number of account managers and put in place a new account management framework. His team will be responsible for not only ensuring customers receive exceptional value, but also the support required to achieve their own business objectives through an expanded home delivery service.

Commenting on his appointment, Paul said: “What attracted me to Arrow XL is its company-wide commitment to providing its customers and their consumers, with the best service possible. The 2-Man Delivery sector is evolving incredibly quickly and Arrow XL has continued to be at the forefront of these changes, embracing new technology and pushing the boundaries of home delivery.

“It is a very exciting time for the business and I’m looking forward to supporting its continued success.”

Speaking of Paul’s appointment, CEO Mr Howell commented: “I have every confidence Paul will make an exceptional Commercial Director. Not only has he got the experience and expertise, but he shares the same philosophy that runs through the heart of our business.”
