Arrow XL appoint new IT & Business Change Director

Arrow XL, the UK’s leading two-man delivery specialist, has announced the appointment of Shaun Devey as IT & Business Change Director. Bringing with him a wealth of experience, Shaun will be responsible for overseeing the IT function of the business and will report directly into CEO, Ian Howell. Core to the role of IT & Business Change Director will be implementing strategic-level IT management, including systems, infrastructure and support services.

In addition, a key objective will be to support the company’s ongoing commitment to customer service through greater investment and employment of IT and technology. This will include upgrading the innovative hand-held terminals operated by Arrow XL’s two-man delivery teams, which enable the customer to track their delivery from warehouse to installation.

Commenting on his appointment, Shaun said: “What attracted me to the role and specifically to Arrow XL, is a company-wide commitment to customer service and appreciation of the integral role technology plays in delivering it. My aim will be to put IT at the frontline of delivery, empowering our colleagues to solve any issue and deliver fantastic customer service.”

Speaking of Shaun’s appointment, Ian Howell, Chief Executive Officer at Arrow XL, commented: “I have every confidence Shaun will make an exceptional IT & Business Change Director. Prior to joining Arrow XL, Shaun was IT Director at Interserve Support Services, one of the world’s foremost support services and construction companies. He is also a Chartered IT Professional (CITP).
