EU seeks comments on TPG buy of 50% stake in DFDS Transport Logistics

The European Commission said it invites comments on the purchase by TPG Group’s TNT Logistics of a 50 pct stake in DFDS Transport Logistics from DSV AS.

The commision said TNT will acquire joint control of DSV Logistic Holding AS and DFDS Transport Logistics OY, which are both wholly owned by DSV.

Interested parties have 10 days in which to submit their comments to the commission.

The commission will announce the result of its initial inquiry on or by June 27.

The European Commission said it has cleared the purchase by TPG Group’s TNT Logistics of a 50 pct stake in DFDS Transport Logistics from DSV AS. The commission said TNT will acquire joint control of DSV Logistic Holding AS and DFDS Transport Logistics OY, which are both wholly owned by DSV. The deal was cleared under the EU’s simplified merger procedure.
