Securicor wins Orion contract

Computer supplier Orion Media Marketing has signed a distribution contract with Securicor Omega Express under which SOE will collect parcels from Orion’s distribution centre in Milton Keynes for onward delivery to its customers throughout the UK on a next-day basis and in Europe.
The contract is supported by SOE’s new corporate account customer service team, based in Manchester, which will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of all deliveries. The company offers:
na dedicated customer telephone number and e-mail address na specific named-customer service advisor and a mandatory one-hour response time to handle customer queries na web-enabled returns collection service and online POD facility.
Implants will be responsible for Orion’s parcel sortation, helping to ensure the accurate despatch of parcels to named SOE terminals.
Kevin Knipe, operations director of Orion, said: “To enhance our distribution network across the UK and Europe, we required a carrier that could not only offer competitive rates, but also provide an integrated distribution solution.”
