Shipllama launches e-forwarding service

Shipllama has launched an e-Forwarding service for Canadian consumers buying products from online US retailers. Consumers can use Shipllama’s US-based warehouse as their US postal address for deliveries, allowing them to shop with any online US merchant, even those who do not offer shipping to Canada. The consumers can then have Shipllama deliver their purchases to their Canadian address through the company’s e-Forwarding system.

Shipllama claims that its shipping rates are 20-50% cheaper than the majority of those charged for direct courier shipments to Canada, and “all costs are included at the time of purchase”.

“Our goal is to provide competitively priced shipping for Canadian consumers who wish to buy from American online stores,” said Michael Beler, President of Shipllama’s  parent company BILSI. “Up till now, if stores did not offer shipping to Canada, Canadian customers had to use a US address and then arrange to either cross the border to pick up their package or pay for courier service to Canada with no idea what additional charges might be collected at the door. Now they can shop online at any US retailer and get their goods delivered hassle free.”

Shipllama’s parent company BILSI is a licensed customs broker, freight forwarder and logistics provider based in Mississauga, Ontario.
