Netto and DFDS get together

Netto, the Denmark-based international discount supermarket, has awarded a three-year contract for the UK delivery of frozen, chilled and ambient products to DFDS Logistics.
DFDS Logistics will make deliveries on a seven day, 24hour cycle to the 50 stores in Netto’s northern region (covering Yorkshire, Humberside, Lincolnshire and the North Midlands), using dedicated dual compartment, multi-temperature vehicles and trailers. All vehicles are being used for multi-drop operations, throughout the day and night.
With responsibility for planning, delivery and maintenance of Netto’s distribution operation, DFDS Logistics has recruited additional management and staff.
