ACM criticises PostNL

The Netherlands regulator ACM has criticised PostNL for allegedly overcharging the carriers who use its national network. The ACM said that it investigated PostNL’s rates and terms following complaints from Van Straaten Post and IntraMail.

In a statement issued today (15 September), ACM said PostNL should charge the small carriers the same rate as it charges its own business customers for access to its national network.

An ACM spokesperson told Post&Parcel that PostNL could face a penalty if it does not comply with the ACM decision.

PostNL has raised an objection to the ACM ruling.
