Deliveree now in Jakarta

On demand delivery company Deliveree has now expanded beyond Thailand with the launch of a service in Jakarta. Bangkok-based Deliveree has been set up by Ardent Capital and Inspire Ventures.

Tom Kim, CEO of Inspire Ventures, told Tech in Asia that Deliveree is a “transportation service marketplace for goods with a heavy business-to-business focus”.

Kim added: “We’re operating successfully in Bangkok with a fleet over over 500 trucks and eco cars. We recently launched in Jakarta and have quickly grown to a fleet size of 500 vans, multi-purpose vehicles, and city cars.”

The Indonesian market already has a number of established on-demand delivery companies, including GO-JEK which announced last month that it was setting up a new division, called GO-BOX, which will offer an Indonesia-wide inter-city package delivery service.
