Newegg and InPost hatch new parcel locker partnership

Electronics-focused e-retailer Newegg Canada is now offering its customers the opportunity to pick up their items through the InPost Lockers 24/7 automated parcel machine network. According to the two companies, the service will give the e-commerce shoppers the option to ship online purchases directly to one of 60 InPost pick-up locations in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

InPost added that the network will be expanding to 200 GTA locations by the end of this year and 1,000 locations across Canada in 2016, through site agreements with retailers, grocery outlets and gas stations.

“Our automated parcel machines are becoming an irreplaceable form of easy and quick delivery of items for all Canadian e-shoppers,” said InPost Canada CEO Tony Jasinski.

The countries in which InPost parcel-lockers have now been installed include: Saudi Arabia, Australia, Chile, Great Britain, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Estonia, Poland, Russia, Cyprus, Slovakia, the Czech Republic as well as Columbia. Currently, there are more than 3,500 parcel lockers based on InPost’s technology located worldwide.
