DM Fulfillment buys Premier Distribution Management
DM Fulfillment has announced that it has bought Premier Distribution Management (PDM), a Chicago-based company operating as a Foreign Trade Zone specializing in international distribution and mailing services. Sean Fleming, CEO of Distribution Management, said: “The added capability brought by PDM enhances our services portfolio by not only increasing our speed to markets abroad, but also adding expertise in the areas of supplemental international postal delivery resources.
PDM CEO and founder Steve Schultz and his team will continue to operate PDM’s facilities in the Chicago region primarily for small package international shipping for both existing PDM clients as well as DM clients. Product for US shipping will be eligible to transfer to ideal DM distribution centre locations based on client needs or potential gains in operational efficiencies and service levels.
