Hobbs partners with Doddle on collections and returns

Women’s fashion retailer, Hobbs, has announced that it is working with Doddle to expand the range of delivery and returns options offered to its online shoppers. Hobbs customers will now be able to use the Doddle network of parcel stores for collections and returns of their online purchases.

As an introductory offer, Hobbs customers will be able to get free next day delivery on all orders to Doddle between 17-23 December. Free standard delivery is normally limited to orders over £150.

After the promotion period, Hobbs customers will pay £3.95 for next day collection at a Doddle store, but will be able to return purchases through Doddle for free.

The addition of Doddle to the Hobbs checkout as a collection location complements Hobbs’ own in-store click and collect offering, currently available at 54 of more than 100 Hobbs stores across the UK and Ireland.

As previously reported, Doddle has expanded its store network over the last 12 months, and now has 45 locations in transport hubs across the UK including Waterloo, King’s Cross, Paddington and Birmingham.

Doddle currently partners with over 25 retailers including Amazon, Asos, New Look, Hawes & Curtis, Wiggle and T.M. Lewin to provide greater customer choice in delivery and returns.

Doddle has fitted a third of its stores with changing rooms, allowing consumers to try on purchases and either wear them home or return instantly, if not right.

Andrew Carter, Head of Ecommerce at Hobbs, said: “Partnering with Doddle enables Hobbs to broaden our range of delivery and returns options for customers, offering a convenient and cost effective next day delivery option. The inclusion of changing rooms in Doddle stores is also a benefit we think our customers will be attracted to.”
