GrabTaxi rebrands as just Grab

Asian on-demand transport company GrabTaxi has announced that it has rebranded itself as just “Grab”. The company has introduced the new name, which is effective for all six countries in which it operations, in order to reflect that it now operates in a wide range of services, including car pooling, bikehailing and on-demand express services.

“We’re no longer just a taxi app,” said Anthony Tan, the company’s CEO and co-founder.
