Zomato buys stake in Quick Delivery

India-based food website Zomato has reportedly bought a small stake in the Philippines-based logistics firm Quick Delivery. Local sources report that Zomato has already been working in partnership with Quick Delivery for its food delivery service in the Philipppines, which it launched in November .

Established in 2008, the Zomato website started off by just listing restaurants in Delhi NCR and soon expanded to include Kolkata and Mumbai. The company went international in 2012 and now operates in more than 20 countries, offering online food ordering and delivery as well as “restaurant discovery” services.
