Royal Mail’s Peter Long appointed Chairman of estate agency Countrywide

Peter Long, the Chairman of Royal Mail, has been appointed as a director of UK estate agency Countrywide, and will take over as the firm’s non-executive Chairman when the incumbent Grenville Turner retires in April. Long became the Chairman of Royal Mail last year, taking over from Donald Brydon.  He is also a member of travel and tourism company TUI AG’s Supervisory Board and previously served as a  non-executive Director at RAC (2001-2005), Rentokil Initial (2005-2014) and Debenhams (2006-2009).
