Palletways Oxford moves to bigger premises

Palletways Oxford has invested in new, larger premises to meet the growing demand for palletised freight services across the region. The firm, part of the Palletways palletised freight network, has relocated its 32 staff and 18-strong fleet to a 46,000 sq ft facility at Innovation Drive, Milton Park in Abingdon. The new premises, three times the size of its former site in Didcot, will help staff process in excess of 1,500 pallets per day, up from 500 they handled previously.

Robert Keirle, sales manager at Palletways Oxford, said: “The move into new premises comes on the back of increasing demand for freight services in the region along with significant growth plans for the depot and Palletways network.  We’re confident that our new facility, which includes 20,000 sq ft of storage space along with an additional 2,000 sq ft of office space, will help us to continue to deliver a first class logistics service this year and for many more to come.”
