SKS & Partners announce official launch

SKS & Partners – the new venture providing consultancy, interim management and IT services in the area of domestic and cross border e-commerce logistics – has officially launched today (25 February). The company is an initiative of well-known industry figures David Spottiswood, Jan Kooyman and Peter Somers, supported by KB Pedersen. Between them, the founders have more than 80 years of experience in logistics.

Spottiswood’s previous roles include Director of Global Operations at DHL and CEO of Borderlinx.

Kooyman has held senior positions with bpost, Atos Consulting, TNT and PostNL.

Somers is a former member of the Executive Committee of bpost and CEO of SprintPack.

The initiative is supported by KB Pedersen, the former CEO of Post Danmark, who recently joined as Advisor.

The SKS & Partners network – which consists of more than 20 experienced professionals with a broad range of specialisms  – will help companies “develop logistics solutions that are agile and tailored to the complex demands of the market”.

“The rapidly changing landscape of global e-commerce is presenting unique challenges for Postal, logistics and retailers,” commented Spottiswood.

“Understanding the interlink between the parties is essential to support a profitable business model that also provides a continuously evolving superior customer experience.

“SKS has been formed to provide strategy to these parties and also the implementation of leading edge solutions through our network of highly experienced senior executives.”

Somers added: ‘I am convinced that the combined know-how, quality and experience of SKS & Partners network is unique in the market due to the fact that our partners and associates have a proven track record in the industry.”
