Mauritanian Postal service goes Internet

The Mauritanian Post Office (MAURIPOST) has been equipped with new computer gear for networking countrywide and offering Internet services to the public.

The new outlay would enable the postal services modernise, using new information and communication technologies to facilitate personnel management, bookkeeping, and operations at the national giro bank and national savings bank, officials said.
