Saudi and Emirates Posts share views on best practices

Emirates Post Group (EPG) recently welcomed a delegation of Saudi Post at its head office in Dubai and the two posts shared views on best practices in postal operations and mail sorting systems. The delegation was welcomed by Chief of Postal Operations Affairs at EPG, Sultan Al Midfa, and a number of senior officials.

In a statement issued by EPG today (7 April), Chief Commercial Officer of EPG Ibrahim Bin Karam commented: “Emirates Post Group has been at the forefront of innovation and technological development in the postal field, and our expertise and excellence in different areas, including in automated sorting systems, has served as a model for other institutions to follow.

“We are always keen to share our expertise with other postal administrations, especially those from brotherly countries. EPG strongly supports the government’s innovation strategy that aim to make the UAE one of the best countries in the world by 2021.”

The Saudi Post delegation consisted of Assistant Assistant General of Procurement and Tender Administration, Saleh Bin Hassan Aldayan; Director of operations and maintenance of postal techniques, Abdullah bin Saud Al-Suwailem ; Maintenance Supervisor for automated sorting machines Abdullah bin Rashid bin Rokan and Automated Sorting Machine Expert Mudesir Khan.
