Amazon to open new Texas fulfilment centre

Amazon has announced plans to open new fulfilment centre in Haslet. which will be its fourth in the theDallas-Fort Worth metroplex and the sixth in the state of Texas. Amazon already has an up-and-running facility in Haslet, which began shipping customer orders in 2013. Its other FCs in the Lone Star State are located in Coppell, southern Dallas and Schertz, with a fifth currently under construction in San Marcos.

The company also operates three sortation centres in Texas, which are located in Irving, Houston and San Antonio.
