Yojee raises $3.2m in funding

Sydney-based delivery start-up company Yojee has raised $3.2m in funding. The company aims to provide a platform that will enable SMEs to make use of spare space in trucks and vans that going in their direction. So, it is a little like Nimber or Roadie, but with commercial vans.

The personnel at Yojee include: Ed Clarke, Co-Founder / Strategic Operations Manager; Andras Kristof,
Chief Technology Officer;  and lawyer Shannon Robinson.

Local sources report that the company plans to go live with its platform later this year. On its website, Yojee says that it is “actively building a delivery network across the Asia-Pacific region with global expansion plans”.
