ArrowXL expands fleet
UK-based two-man home delivery specialist ArrowXL has added 30 new single deck trailers to its fleet. The £630,000 investment will see all 30 single deck trailers being rolled out in a new livery scheme promoting ArrowXL’s Platinum Home Delivery service.
Launched last month, ArrowXL’s Platinum Home Delivery is especially designed for high-end or complex products.
The new trailers will transport retailers’ large and bulky products – such as upholstery, beds and mattresses, white goods and cabinet furniture – to ArrowXL’s nationwide hub network in Airdrie, Enfield, Wigan and Worcester for onward nationwide delivery into customers’ homes.
Chief executive officer Ian Howell said the investment enables ArrowXL to manage the full customer journey into the home, and provides capacity for planned future growth.
The new single deck trailers have been manufactured specifically by Cartwright to suit the bulky nature of ArrowXL’s two-man home delivery product.
ArrowXL specialises in handling large, fragile and bulky items up to 120kg.
