Amazon to open another Doncaster fulfilment centre

Amazon has announced that it will be opening its third fulfilment in Doncaster next year. Scheduled to open in summer 2017, the new site in iPort will create 500 new jobs.

Also in the Doncaster area, Amazon opened a  fulfilment centre in Balby Carr Bank in 2010 and a second in Water Vole Way opened in autumn 2015.

“We are delighted to announce that we will be creating 500 new permanent full-time jobs with competitive pay and comprehensive benefits starting on day one by opening our third fulfilment centre in Doncaster in summer 2017,” said John Tagawa, Amazon’s Vice President of UK Operations.
