Israel Post sees increase revenue from overseas packages

Israel Post generated a revenue of NIS901m for the first half of 2016, down from NIS921 in H1 2015. Revenue from overseas packages and shipments was up 32%, according to a report in the Israeli news website Globes, but this was not enough to offset a 7% drop in mail revenue.

The postal operator achieved a net profit of NIS19.5m for H1 2016, which was up on last year’s result.
