PostNL rate increases

PostNL will be increasing the rates for both international and domestic letters on 1 January. The basic rate for domestic letters will go up by 5 cents to €0.78. The rate for using a franking machine will rise by 7 cents to €0.72.

The basic rate for international letters will increase by 8 cents to €1.33.

PostNL also announced today (1o October) that it will increase the rate for business mail in 2017.

The Dutch supervisory authority for the postal market, the Autoriteit Consument & Markt (ACM), has verified that the new rates fall within the statutory tariff headroom.
