Government ministers set to take part in House of Lords’ inquiry on driverless vehicles

Two government ministers are due to give evidence at hearing on Tuesday, as part of the House of Lords Science and Technology Committee’s ongoing inquiry into the development of driverless cars. Transport Minister John Hayes and Nick Hurd, Minister for Climate Change and Industry, will be taking part in a session hearing taking place at 11:40am.

Sarah Sharples, Professor of Human Factors, Faculty of Engineering at Nottingham University; Natasha Merat, Professor in Human Factors of Transport Systems, Institute for Transport Studies (ITS), University of Leeds; and Andy Graham, Consultant, ITS will take part in an earlier hearing beginning at 10:40am.
