Amazon buys trailers for Prime deliveries in UK

Amazon has confirmed to Post&Parcel that it has bought 40 double deck trailers that will be Prime branded and used by UK line haul partners. An Amazon spokesperson said the trailers will distribute items between Amazon’s fulfilment centres and delivery stations across the UK.

The spokesperson added: “The trailers will support partners by providing additional capacity and flexibility to Amazon’s UK line-haul operations, ensuring that customers continue to receive a first rate level of service.”
