Schweizerische Post launching advertising campaign to make itself better known in Europe and gain new customers.

The company has thus started a print campaign in leading papers and specialised magazines in Germany and the Netherlands, which will be extended to Austria in March. Large-sized adverts in e.g. ‘Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung’, ‘Süddeutsche Zeitung’, ‘Financial Times’, ‘Algemeen Dagblad’, ‘Telegraaf’ etc. claim that ‘Swiss quality is now available in Germany’ or ‘in the Netherlands’. A Schweizerische Post spokeswoman told the CEP News that the campaign was directed exclusively at business companies.

The press advertising campaign is to be complemented by direct mailings, small adverts, PR measures and Internet advertising. The company has chosen the online heading ‘When we say Economy we mean First Class Service’.
