The Russian Export Center and SPSR Express team up for e-commerce initiative

The Russian Export Center (REC) and SPSR Express have signed a partnership agreement which they say will “unleash the opportunities of logistics services for Russian exports and create an e-commerce platform for listing products across online marketplaces and stores worldwide”. The agreement was signed by the companies’ CEOs – head of the REC Group Petr Fradkov and SPSR Express CEO Vladimir Solodkin – on Tuesday (14 February).

The REC Group is the state institution for export support, established with the assistance of the Government of Russian Federation.

Commenting on the agreement, Fradkov said: “E-commerce today is one of the most exciting industries for export development and we actively engage all dedicated parties to participate in this process. As a strong industrial player, SPSR Express is an extremely important partner for us. Our mutual efforts will target the logistics tasks, as well as sales stimulation through e-commerce channels.”

SPSR’s Solodkin added: “Within our partnership we will concentrate not only on delivery services for foreign customers. We will provide a wide spectrum of additional services – assist manufacturers to determine perspective segments for exports, organize listing and sales activities on international online-platforms and consult of customs clearance procedures.”
