Kerry Logistics signs up homeware retailer Lakeland
Kerry Logistics, one of Asia’s leading logistics services providers, has been awarded a contract by UK-based homeware retailer, Lakeland. Kerry Logistics will provide Lakeland with global freight forwarding services including ocean freight and supply chain solutions, as well as buyer’s consolidation services.
The logistics provider will assist Lakeland with purchase order management and supply chain visibility solutions via the Virtual Buying Office (VBO).
Kerry Logistics said that its distribution network in China will play a key role in driving international growth for the retailer, which recently announced its expansion into the Australian market with the launch of 13 new locations.
“Lakeland is a multi-national as well as multi-channel retailer renowned for high levels of customer service and innovation. We are delighted to be awarded the contract to support them with end-to-end logistics solutions,” said Emma Rowlands, Sales Director of Kerry Logistics (UK).
