Asda launches new money transfer service, powered by Ria

Asda Money has launched a new service – called Asda Money Transfer Powered by Ria – which will offer money transfer to over 145 countries through a network of more than 317,000 global locations. Asda told Post&Parcel that the service has launched online this month and will roll out in selected stores across the UK from June.

Customers will be able to transfer up to £1,800 per day with bank deposit, cash pay-out and home delivery options available.

Customers using the online service will be able to calculate the total cost to send money to a specific country using the new Price Calculator.

Ria is the world’s third largest money transfer company – and it has worked with many postal operators to build up its global network.
